I got up this morning and started laying out tiles and marking them for cutting. (David did all the prep work on the subfloor.) My office mate's tile saw worked perfectly, and I am oh so grateful. I even went so far as to buy a bottle of wine to give them in thanks. By 11 am, David was helping me mix the thinset (mud pies!) and I got to tiling. All told, it took me from 7:30 to 1 pm, and every part of me hurts. The floor looks okay. It's setting up right now. Tomorrow: grout.

Tiling is a crappy DIY job, and in the future, any flooring projects will be done by professionals. Still, it appears that we will have the dang bathroom more or less in working order by Sunday.

I do believe I will go to bed early tonight. Yawn!
